Senior Software Engineer - Embedded Software Sustaining
We have an immediate opening for a senior level embedded-system software engineer to serve the rapidly growing market opportunities to fulfill specific customer requirements on our top-notch 802.11 WiFi products, including WiFi adapters, access points, & Wireless LAN controllers.
The Day to Day activities will include:
• Interface to our Product Management group to realize specific firmware requirements from potential customers.
• Interface to our Customer Advocacy group to resolve issues in specific customer environments on our embedded firmware.
• Develop firmware patches to continue to enhance our products
Qualifications:
• BSEE/BSCS needed, MSEE/MSCS preferred
• 5+ years of working experience in embedded system development in networking
• 2+ years of Linux experience
• Knowledge & experience in 802.11 and 802.16 wireless systems
• 802.1x, EAP-TLS/TTLS/PEAP & RADIUS/LDAP authentication experience
• Solid understanding on networking protocols, including bridging, routing, TCP/IP, DHCP, ARP, DNS, NAT, & STP.
• Superb communication skills
