We are currently seeking a talented Lead Business Architect for our San Antonio, TX facility.

As a Lead Business Architect for USAA you will lead and motivate cross-functional team members in the development and delivery of business solutions. Independently performs complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes, and channels. Creates, communicates, and delivers business solutions.

JOB DUTIES

  • Manages multiple change management initiatives with the most scope and complexity. Leads and facilitates cross-functional, collaborative teams in improvement and development initiatives using process engineering principles.
  • Identifies, validates, and communicates business opportunities and solutions. Utilizes knowledge of customers, products, processes and PP&E expertise to analyze business problem(s) and determine the best methodology to resolve defect or issue.
  • Drives improvement efforts based on analysis. Analyzes processes to identify areas of improvement and provides appropriate analytics to facilitate business effort prioritization. Provides coaching on complex statistical analysis.
  • Shapes vision, mobilizes commitment and leads team to change systems and structures to achieve vision.
  • Applies expert knowledge and experience with business manager tools, deliverables, and PP&E discipline to serve as a resource to team members on escalated issues of a unique nature.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years relevant process improvement experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics.
  • Advanced knowledge of LEAN tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry tools (SIPOC, VOC, Process Mapping, Requirements).
  • Advanced knowledge of process engineering methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Design for Customer Impact (DFCI) and Multi Variant Modeling.
  • Master Black Belt certification or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • DFSS Experience.
  • Complex Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated Advanced Facilitation skills .
  • Advanced Modeling (Process, Simulation, Statistical).
  • Systems Dynamics.
  • Enterprise Architecture.
  • Sales/Service/Marketing experience in Financial Services Industry.
  • Design and Integration across multiple functions/Lines of Business.
