Details of this critical opening follow: SUMMARY Manage overall pricing strategy and rating development for international personal, specialty personal, and small business insurance, working in collaboration with Personal & Business Insurance business unit leadership and heads of products and regions. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee analysis activities necessary for the development of pricing strategies and tactical business decisions related to product pricing * Lead development of rating approach and models * Develop, manage and monitor appropriate methodologies, assumptions and pricing factors used to adequately reflect risk * Coordinate product and pricing testing and implementation, consistent with marketing , sales, underwriting, and overall corporate goals * Analyze product, LOB and region performance, incorporating both historical observations and insight into prospective trends * Manage research, evaluation and analysis of Personal & Business Insurance trends by region, customer segments, product mix, risk score, etc. * Analyze and monitor legal requirements by market * Contribute to and/or manage release process and timing for products and pricing Additional Responsibilities: * Contribute to the development of business plans containing forecasts of future financial performance * Inform sales and training documentation * Lead large sized actuarial projects through to implementation * Inform key stakeholders to ensure financial guidelines are adopted * Provide advice and support to senior management and colleagues * Quantify and advise on financial risks that affect the company's ability to meet its liabilities and assist in monitoring / mitigating these risks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 4-8 years actuarial experience in property & casualty product lines.
