Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community. Subject Matter Expect (SME) in the development of the Security and Roles around the BHCS EHR:
  • Assure that the Clinical and Revenue Cycle Eclipsys Security follow BHCS Audit and Compliance process
  • Facilitate work sessions mapping Human Resource files to Eclipsys security
  • Perform security audits of roles and access as requeted
  • Work with other Security team leads and analyst in defining security roles and definitions
  • Work with all Eclipsys Functional teams to ensure security supports design as well as build
  • Attend and participate in the Identity Management
  • Attend Care Model Integration meeting incorporating Security process and technology in developing EHR design and workflows
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Management, Nursing, Business, Medical Technology, or related field in order to provide consultative and technical expertise to customers. Work requires 3-5 years of progressively more responsible experience in order to conduct feasibility studies, coordinate service level agreement, and review progress of projects and support of information systems. Strong analytical abilities required to interact with customers to evaluate work and provide technical assistance. Good interpersonal skills required to interact with customers and clients and provide technical assistance to resolve problems. Good organizational skills required to communicate effectively.

Additional qualifications preferred but not required:
  • Worked as a clinician providing patient care
  • Working knowledge of clinical applications preferable Eclipsys
  • Previous experience with setting up role base security
