  • Identifies brokers & directs prospects. Makes initial contact with brokers/clients, conducts in depth dialogue and develops a positive business relationship built on mutual trust.
  • Partners across Schinnerer to utilize appropriate resources for initial and ongoing sales efforts and broker development.
  • Meets prospects needs by offering innovative solutions, resolving difficult risk issues, providing customer support.
  • Ensures timeframes and deliverables are met in the sales process; and ensures that post-sales teams provide quality service to all assigned clients.
  • Develops and maintains effective network within the business community and industry. Maintains an effective follow-up system.
  • Supports effective/participative sales efforts; provides timely feedback, insight, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Must hold P&C agents license in Illinois.

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in commercial P&C lines, including but not limited to: Professional Liability and Executive Lines.

  • Prior sales experience

  • Possess a strong global view of Schinnerer; solid Insurance Industry knowledge

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and judgment skills; excellent problem solving ability

  • Proven track record of setting mutually agreed upon goals/expectations

  • Strong negotiation skill set

  • 40% travel required
