As an integral member of our LP Team in the position of LP Agent, you will support the operation of our client’s stores by maintaining building security, store safety, modeling our client’s philosophy by using good judgment in your decisions and actions, and identifying and applying various techniques to control potential or actual losses. You will implement appropriate actions to ensure your success. You will also assists in internal investigations. Candidate may be responsible for rotation within district with minimal travel between locations.
Primary Responsibilities: • Ability to assimilate into client’s store environment • Excellent observation skills as you perform monitoring and surveillance activities via camera and/or floor observation • Conduct investigations of external and internal theft situations and follow-through to closure
• Apprehend shoplifters following company apprehension policies and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations, administer first aid, react in a professional diplomatic manner, using good judgment and making good decisions under pressure
• Complete all paperwork and reports in a timely manner and distribute to all appropriate parties
• Maintains a high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentially • Assists store management with physical security, EAS, and safety issues • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits to help with shrinkage control • Conduct and/or participate in security awareness meetings and ongoing education of employees about their role in preventing losses and following policies and procedures
• Partner with local law enforcement agencies and officers
• Professional representation in criminal court proceedings
Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years experience in retail loss prevention
• Minimum education level of High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Eligible to work in U.S.A.
• Possession of required licenses or ability to obtain
• Must be a motivated professional with excellent investigative skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using established report writing format • Basic knowledge of retail policies and procedures
• Ability to be productive and self motivated working independently or as part of a team
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and flexible schedule • Must be able to pass background check
Agents are full time or part time non-exempt (hourly) position. primary responsibility and role is to identify, observe and apprehended individual’s committing external thefts within their assigned stores. Agents are charged with maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the execution of his or her duties within the store location.
