We are looking for talented professionals to join our team. We are seeking a Senior Property Claims Consultant. Specific Responsibilities: - Client Service:
- Provides advocacy services on behalf of client including program implementation, coverage analysis, perfection of notices to insurers and TPA's, affirmative advocacy of client's coverage position, negotiation and resolution of coverage disputes, settlements and other claims services in the interests of the client.
- Assists client and other Marsh team members by serving as a resource concerning claims advocacy products and services and matching products and services to client's key needs..
- Uses systems to organize, verify and track information (including CS STARS RIMS system).
- Supports the brokerage/underwriting function including but not limited to placement renewals.
- Supports the finance function including regular interfacing with captive managers, auditors, actuary and CFO of clients.
- Effectively communicates and facilitates discussions, meetings and other communications
- Respects and maintains client confidentiality.
- Determines risk issues and provides consulting solutions.
- Works closely with the Marsh Client Executives in overall service delivery.
- Project Management:
- Participates in the development of pricing of projects and securing appropriate selection of resources.
- Complies with company policy and procedures for timekeeping, expense reporting, billing and other administrative functions.
- Communications:
- Develops and delivers effective written and oral communications, such as reports, technical concepts and deliverables.
- Works effectively within matrix organization, interacting with both geographic and substantive practice groups.
- Business Acumen:
- Demonstrates an understanding of internal and external business goals and overall strategies needed to attain these goals.
- Complies with professional standards and best practices within specialty area.
- Client development:
- Provides suggestions to team for improving and enhancing business development activities.

- Minimum 10 - 15 years of property claim adjusting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Licensing according to company policy or applicable law.
- Available for catastrophic response team assignment..
- Define potential problems and identify solutions.
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient Communications (Oral and Written). Attention to detail.
- Maintains client relations and identifies business opportunities.
- Travel required (domestic and international travel)
