POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Physician Billing Services at St Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center has an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our organization! Will be responsible for managing revenue cycle for all ambulatory care services, including feedback to customers. Process includes billing through claim payment.
Manages all functions and employees within the receivables management team in Physician Billing Service. Develops goals and objectives for the A/R team. Responsible for quality improvement.
Responsible for managing accounts receivable and to meet national benchmarks for accounts receivable.
Maintains database integrity. Responsible for accurate billing and collections through training of staff on policies and procedures and develop greater efficiencies through improved processes.
Meets or exceeds monthly cash goals and works within pre-established productivity guidelines.
Responsible for identifying payer issues and working with each payer to improve collections and reduce A/R days.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have (5+) Five Years of Previous 30+ FTE Management Experience.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or health care administration required. Five years experience providing leadership and management direction within a Central Business Office environment required.
Five years progressive management experience in revenue cycle management in professional fees area. Experience in HFCA 1500 billing. Must have proven experience working effectively with providers and staff. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
