Software Engineer (Database Administrator) [8792BR]

Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for database installation, upgrade, migration, and tuning following standard procedures. Work with Operations teams to release software and refresh database on multiple environments. May provide technical leadership. Troubleshoot database applications issues. Perform capacity planning for future server and database software. Set up new schemas for applications. Responsible for database performance tuning, backup and recovery. Perform load test and collect and analyze performance data. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

· MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field

· 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 year of work experience in a computer-related occupation.

· Configuring (and restoring) Oracle databases utilizing Recover Manager (RMAN) on NetBackup, export/import and data pump.

· Setting up physical standby database and Oracle Data guard for disaster recovery purposes, Data guard switch over/switch back.

· UNIX operating system and storage technologies such as Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS), and UNIX shell scripts.

· Advanced SQL tuning, database performance tuning and PL/SQLs

· Oracle 8i/9i/10g, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Grid control, RMAN, Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and other Oracle tools.

· Data structure, Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), Oracle security management and Oracle Data integrity.

· Change control management and problem control management in production environments.

· Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Software Engineer [8793BR]

Essential Job Duties:

Design, develop, modify, review, test and document software in a real-time environment. Determine design approaches and parameters. Design and implement complex & highly secure solutions for routine web based casino games. Analyze and fine tune application’s performance for heavy load times to ensure smooth game play. Implement, test and maintain the product and also mentor other developers. Interface with Gaming Systems Development, Product Assurance, Technical Compliance, Customer Service and other Engineering Departments to obtain product guidelines and constraints of software design. Requires understanding of the rules related to casino gaming industry and coding standards for such applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

· MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

· 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation.

· AJAX , HTML, XML, CSS

· Spring framework; Hibernate; Weblogic

· UNIX

· J2EE platform, Java, Junit
