Senior Systems Engineer- Touch Interface
Our company currently is looking for a full-time Systems/DSP engineer for touch face interface products. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of firmware, algorithm, & signal processing algorithm for mostly capacitive touch products. This position requires this candidate to be based at our company’s location in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
-Create embedded, top of the line algorithms & firmware touch screen controller products.
-Apply the algorithms on rapid prototyping systems, which includes FPGA IC’s & DSP
-Apply embedded firmware used for on-chip microprocessor architectures
-Work with a development team, along with other hardware, systems, IC design, & software engineers.
Skills:
-Experience using emulators for debugging in real-time
-Familiar with rapid prototyping systems like FPGA & DSP for the implementation of algorithms
-Familiar with mixed-signal & analog concepts (D/A, analog filters, A/D, analog mixers, etc.)
-Past experience in the development of capacitive touch screen algorithms is a huge bonus
-Strong experience & background in concepts relating to digital signal processing, which may include sampled systems, interpolation, digital filtering, etc.
-Experience with developing DSP algorithms in Metlab or other similar algorithm development systems
-Knowledgeable about programming software on embedded processor platforms that use C language (experience with assembly is preferable)
Requirements
- A BS/MS in Electrical Engineering is preferable
- 5+ years in a notable technical development role.
-Solid written verbal & written communication skills that will be used to give proper feedback to customers & colleagues
