Senior Software Engineer II
A next generation mobile convergence/4G equipment manufacturer is looking for a few good Software Engineers to continue the success with its WiMax & LTE products. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer that will have the responsibility of guaranteeing that the delivery of world-class carrier-class platforms is top-of-the-line quality. You have the opportunity to work a team assembled from some of the top wireless, WiMax, and LTE companies in the country & work with the newest technologies in the world.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in electrical engineering or computer science
- At least five years of software engineering experience (mostly writing device drivers)
- Experience & knowledge in Kernel, driver code, & C development
- Solid knowledge of compilers with options & processor architectures (ex: x86 & Power PC)
- Solid understanding of interfaces like PCI, PCI-express, 8/16 bit local bus, SPI, & I2C
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, like Networking
- Able to independently
- Operating system experience (UNIX, Linux, & Free BSD)
- Experience with Perl, Unix shell scripting, & Expect
- Demonstrated ability of delivering quality software
- Self-motivated & able to handle constant change in a dynamic environment that is extremely results-oriented
