Job Description
Primary responsibilities will involve: balance sheet account reconciliations, interface with internal & external auditors, understanding and working within financial reporting guidelines, supporting Sarbanes Oxley and compliance requirements, and ad-hoc projects as needed. Department involvement crosses various accounting topics such as benefits, insurance, stock options, fixed assets, foreign exchange, and accounts receivable.
Candidates should have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills & organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge of general business practices, Sarbanes Oxley experience, a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools, and a strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and FASB. Must possess the ability and desire to plan, control, and contribute to solving complex problems.
The ability to multi-task, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and effectively communicate technical financial information is required.
This candidate must have a strong appreciation for the importance of ensuring accuracy in all levels of financial reporting.
Ability to work overtime during peak periods is required.
Familiarity with SAP PCA Financials is preferred.
