Director of Interactive Ad Sales--Mobile Ad Network



Our client, a rich media mobile advertising network, is seeking an entrepreneurial and ambitious Director of Ad Sales in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue growth with top advertisers
  • Engage agency decision makers at all levels
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments
  • Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
  • Develop a formal plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities
  • Identify and develop a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
  • Adopt the company's selling methodology
  • Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients
  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years online media sales experience; preferably from an ad network
  • 3+ years experience calling on online advertising agencies
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying and planning
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value not price
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization
  • Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
  • BA/BS required
