Brief Job Description:

Rapidly growing peninsula based startup is actively looking to hire a senior Director of Finance / Controller. This would be our first permanent finance and accounting position.

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including revenue recognition

Preparation of monthly close and board reports

Financial planning and modeling, and sales operations (deal desk/deal approvals, forecast support, commission plan design, commission accounting).

Technical familiarity with SaaS / subscription software accounting issues is a must

Great communication skills able work with the entire management team.

The company is currently on Quickbooks but converting to Netsuite or Intacct in the next year. Implementation experience, a plus.

CPA preferred MBA preferred with 8-12 years of experience who thrives in a startup environment.
