SOS Security Incorporated is seeking retired law enforcement officers from New Jersey and Federal agencies for new high-security positions in Mahwah, Bergen County, New Jersey.

At a minimum applicants must meet the following qualifications:

· Must have retired or separated under honorable circumstances from a New Jersey or federal law enforcement agency.

· Must possess a current New Jersey Permit to Carry a Handgun – Retired Law Enforcement issued by the New Jersey State Police.

· Must possess proof of handgun qualification within the last six-months signed by an authorized NRA Instructor or law enforcement agency representative.

· Must currently own or willing to purchase a semi-automatic pistol (9mm, .357, or 40 caliber).

· Must be able to qualify with a 12 gauge shotgun if required.

· Must be physically fit.

· Must have a valid driver license with no record of major violations.

· Must have a flexible schedule.

· Applicants who are currently registered under the New Jersey Security Officers Registration Act (SORA) are preferred, however, If applicant is hired by SOS. SOS does provide the required 24 hours of SORA instruction at no cost to employees. Applicants are responsible for their own registration and fingerprinting fees.
