The vendor manager assesses the current and forecasted print fulfillment requirements for about 100 total benefits outsourcing clients. The vendor manager partners with appropriate parties to develop and enforce contract language to formalize the print vendors' obligations. Periodically, the vendor manager formally surveys the client teams to assess satisfaction with the print vendor's services. The vendor manager also maintains informal relationships with key client team contacts, to ensure continuous and productive feedback. The vendor manager partners with the print vendor to maintain a scorecard covering numerous relationship dimensions, including competitive pricing, client satisfaction, contract provision compliance, satisfactory initiative deliverables, etc. The vendor manager and print manager jointly develop and implement action plans to enhance scorecard results. In addition, the vendor manager oversees the print vendor's capacity planning for new total benefits outsourcing clients, major events, and volume spikes. The vendor manager works with auditing groups to ensure sufficient physical and logical security at the print vendor, in compliance with contract terms. In collaboration with client teams, ACS' technology resources, the print vendor and occasional third parties, such as software firms, the print vendor identifies opportunities to enhance services and products, and oversees planning and execution of associated strategic initiatives. The print vendor ensures timely receipt, accuracy and payment of print vendor invoices. This includes periodic audits of complex, tiered unit pricing schedules. In addition, the vendor manager owns resolution of all issue escalations from the client service teams, and formal communication with the client teams regarding the print vendor relationship. At least three years managing a large vendor relationship. Knowledge of print vendor capabilities preferred, including application of dynamic publishing software. At least two years benefits experience preferred. At least five years managing initiatives. College degree or equivalent preferred. Performs all other duties as assigned.
