Job Description:
Performs a wide variety of clerical tasks in support of several programs including new growth and proposals. Maintains alphabetical, numerical or subject files. Responsible for making travel arrangements, maintaining calendars, coordinating setup of meetings (coordinating schedules, sending Lotus Notes and Outlook Express meeting notices, reserving conference rooms, placing catering orders and setting up refreshments for meetings), and submitting expense statements. Operates office machinery and/or personal computers and should be familiar with several computer applications (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets). Inputs data into various company computer systems. Generates charts, tables, memoranda, reports, correspondence and other materials with speed and accuracy. May be responsible for government and company property tracking and control. May interface with internal and/or external customers. May require minimal knowledge of specific functional areas. Must be able to set up travel and handle expense reports. This position requires an existing TS/SCI.
Required Skills:
* Proficient in MS Office, Lotus Notes, Outlook Express, Reserve Conference Room Scheduling System
* Good communication skills, written and verbal
* Must be a team player and self-starter (willing to pitch in where ever there is a need)
* Proactive
* Needs to be flexible and comfortable with a changing environment
* 4+ years experience in administration, customer support role
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision
* Existing TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills
* Knowledge of Sametime
* Travel Smart Reservation System, WebTE, EBP Supplies Ordering System, Catering Ordering System,
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
