Position Summary

Provides payment reminder services to designated clients and make soft collection calls on accounts overdue 5-45 days past due, offer electronic payment option and take promise to pay.

Essential Duties

· Collections experience a plus.

· Makes outbound phone calls regarding member’s overdue payments on loans and credit cards for various financial institutions.

· Updates call results and enter any other pertinent information into both SWBC and the appropriate Financial Institution’s databases.

· Processes electronic payments upon the member’s approval using the ECM system.

· Refers complex questions, problems or client complaints promptly and accurately to the appropriate resources to ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

· Must have 6 months or more of data entry, in-bound, out-bound or other related call center, telemarketing or related experience. Insurance or banking experience preferred.

· Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.

· Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and telephone etiquette skills.

· Must have strong workflow and communication skills (both written and oral).

· Must be able to operate a computer and basic office equipment.

· Must be able to type 40 WPM accurately and operate a 10-key calculator by touch.

. Must pass FDCPA and Soft Collections exam within 30 days of employment.

. Bilingual preferred.
