Job Description:
Provide technical service services for network monitoring systems from corporate office or at the customer premises. Works closely with the customer to understand their mobile or fixed line networks and perform configuration of products as needed to ensure the system meets the customer's need and is functioning according to specifications.
Job Requirements:
Must have Geoprobe, UMTS UTRAN and IP Networking are required.
Must possess proven customer communication, interaction skills
Must have strong knowledge with telecom networks, protocols and architectures;
Able to integrate tests, administer and diagnose telecommunications hardware and software systems and peripherals for our customers’ facilities.
Configures and customizes system to customer’s specifications.
Provide technical assistance/troubleshooting and support for telecom systems (hardware & software). Able to work independently with little supervision.
Strong UNIX operating systems user skills (Solaris is preferred)
Experience using FTP to move files
Experience with Visual Editor (VI) for editing scripts
Bachelors degree is required
