Job Details:

EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a surgical attendant or nursing assistant may quality the individual for on-the-job training.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: BLS required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have eye/hand/foot coordination, finger/fine dexterity and be able to handle/grip/squeeze and perform repetitive activity. Must be capable of transferring-vertical/horizontal, lifting/carrying greater than 35 pounds with assistance and be able to push/pull, climb, stoop/bend, kneel, walk, sit, crouch/squat, stand, flex/position/twist and reach.

SUMMARY: Assists physicians in the physiological monitoring of patients and the preparation of drugs, fluids, anesthetic and equipment ancillary to operative intervention of other procedures requiring anesthesia. Set up, operate and maintain monitoring and anesthesia equipment.
