Production Artist with Design Skills: FILTER

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Report directly to Lead Production Designer
• Execute established designs as directed by Lead Production Designer
• Work with creative team to develop design and production solutions as requested
• Adhere to design standards and maintain brand consistency
• Interface with internal and external customers, including creative services team, merchandising team, store operations, advertising agencies, promotion firms or anyone who may require assets for creative purposes
• Responsible for type corrections and layout adjustments
• Send electronic proofs as requested to off-site team members

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Expert level knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required
• Proficient working with Capture One and Flex Color
• Working knowledge of Power Point, Acrobat, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of layout, prepress and printing processes, type and color
• Experience creating a complete layout based upon art direction
• Outstanding print production skills
• Detail-oriented
• Able to take initiative and highly self-motivated
• Knowledge of digital terminology and electronic media file formats
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to excel in a deadline driven environment
• Meticulous in creating files, organizing files and preflighting
• Ability to listen to constructive feedback and make necessary changes
• Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
• Highly organized and able to maintain electronic, print and proof files and ftp site
