Licensed Insurance Agent - Property & Casualty: Confidential

JOB SUMMARY:

Property & Casualty producer (must be licensed in the state of Louisiana). In addition, possible product and sales interactions may include Annuity, Auto, Boat, Business, Home and Life insurance products.

· Develop strong relationships with the community to maximize sales opportunities and growth opportunities.

· Assist in developing marketing strategies to elevate company's status and competitive outlook.

· Seek out new customers and develop a customer base.

· Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the property being insured, and to discuss other coverage policies and options.

· Inspect properties, examining their general condition, type of construction, age, and other characteristics, to decide if the properties are a good insurance risk.

· Work with customers to calculate premiums and establish a successful payment method.

· Monitor insurance claims to make sure they are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer.

· Perform administrative tasks.
