Publisher/Network Development - Top-Tier Ad Network
Our client is a leading online advertising network and technology company. Their network connects high quality, brand-name publishers with Fortune 1000 advertisers. Also, their proprietary technology offers top-tier publishers an ad network management platform to create their own branded, vertical ad networks. This enables both brand and direct advertisers to reach greater results through sophisticated audience targeting technology, including contextual, behavioral, geographic and re-targeting.
We are conducting a search on behalf of our client for two Managers, Business Development (also called a Network Development Managers) to be based in the Los Angeles (Santa Monica) office and the other in the New York office.
This position will focus on building online publisher partnerships and maintaining existing online publisher relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a solid understanding of the Internet in terms of online advertising, content distribution and contextual marketing to forge long-term deals with web publishing partners.
- Pursue quality Tier 1 partnership and distribution opportunities in the US.
- Forge strategic content partnerships.
- Spread throughout the industry our client's emerging publisher solutions brand.
- Manage existing relationships.
- Support sales team and account management on all facets of client relations and service including reporting, client conference calls/meetings and campaign analysis/reporting.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE - a minimum 3 years of online sales, business development or strategic media buying experience across one of the following mediums: online advertising, search, contextual marketing or web publishing content distribution.
- MUST HAVE - a strong understanding of the online advertising sector.
- MUST HAVE - ability to cultivate, evaluate and negotiate sound commercial agreements.
- MUST HAVE - solid history of quota attainment, full sales life cycle (opening new business to closing deals) and ability to evaluate sound business opportunities.
- Seasoned prospecting skills in digital media.
- MUST HAVE - excellent communication (verbal & written) and strong presentation skills.
- MUST HAVE - Bachelors degree
