Job Description

The VP of Sales (Bus Dev) for AseraCare Hospice is tasked with the creation and management of a sales and marketing strategy that will contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives. In this role you will assess opportunities, develop new prospects, develop proposal options, and negotiate terms of contracts. Duties also include the development of key relationships where appropriate and providing oversight and direction to direct reports.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates will possess a bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance; Advanced degree is preferred. You must have a minimum of eight to ten years experience in health cares sales with at least five years experience in general management concepts such as planning, accounting and administration to qualify. Other minimum requirements include direct sales and sales management experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills at a level necessary to accomplish the job. This position has six direct reports with extensive travel across 19 states so this is definitely a “road warrior" type role with respect to travel.
