Description :
We're looking for a Software Engineer with significant development experience to bring to market wireless systems including multimedia capabilties. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in wireless protocols, systems analysis, 802.11 and underlying PHY and MAC, Linux internals such as device drivers, networking interfaces, and the TCP/IP stack. A strong knowledge of kernel configuration and build, packaging, install and initial system bring up including boot loading is also necessary. Thorough understanding of Linux utilities such as system logging, network services and run time options is preferred. Experience with bus technologies such as pci and usb is also preferred.
Job Requirements :
1.B.S. and minimum 5 years experience in driver software development
2.Expert with the C language
3.Device driver and systems level experience. Experience with Linux is a requirement, WinCE and big Windows is a plus.
4.Must have mastered OS concepts of: Process, DMA engines, interrupts, Interrupt Handling, Timers, Memory Virtualization, Threads, IPC, user space, race conditions and perimeter locking.
5.Strongly knowledgable about networking concepts and protocols, direct experience with network device driver is highly preferred.
6.Chip and platform bringup experience is preferred. Understanding of hardware issues and experience working with hardware engineers and with bus and logic analyzers is also highly desired.
