Our Consumer Testing office is seeking a Key Account Manager - Textiles & Apparel to be located on-site with one of our Los Angeles based retail clients. Incumbent will be involved with routine follow up of account activities to insure customers requests are timely, correct, and complete per customers’ and SGS’ procedures/requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Update the account profile and communicate the changes to related department timely
  • May assist in the initial client SOP / Pricing document development and is responsible for revising and maintaining current.
  • Work on assigned customer account in conjunction with Sales Representatives or Key Account Managers to ensure continuity and quality of service delivery for continued account penetration
  • Create the jobs orders timely and communicate order# to related EA to indicate in quotes, reports / spreadsheets, IDNs
  • Check Open Orders weekly/monthly to ensure active orders are completed timely
  • Ensure all project / account folders are set up correctly in the system including but not limited to pricing. Ensure information is complete, updated, correct prior to review by internal auditors
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding testing status, report information and technical information

Qualifications:

  • 2 year college degree or 3 years experience in client support position in a related, scientific field with good performance
  • Consumer product experience with textiles & apparel preferred
  • Computer literacy (filing, saving, searching, backup, etc.)
  • Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Familiar with Quality Management System and ISO 17025
