Senior Accountant: Controllers Group

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full cycle general ledger close (balance sheet account reconciliations, standard, recurring, reversing and allocation journal entries, review income and expense accounts for reasonableness)
• Prepare international cash flow statements
• Reconcile multiple cross border inter-company accounts
• Preparation of foreign currency transactions
• International experience
• Cash analysis and reporting
• Monthly close
• Big picture understanding and analysis of general ledger activity
• Assist in monthly budget vs. actual expense analysis
• Assist is annual budget and quarterly forecasting process as required
• Fixed asset tracking (FAS database); property tax return preparation and filing
• Prepare audit schedules
• Maintain a consistent and timely month end close schedule; overtime as required. Special projects and analysis as required
• Reconcile intercompany accounts

Requirements:

• 5+ years accounting experience (preferably 2-3 years in Sr Accountant role with full cycle close experience)
• Small start-up industry experience huge plus
• CPA a plus
• International cash flow preparation required
• Quickbooks and large ERP systems plus
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word); pivot tables, advanced spreadsheeting re
• Ecommerce industry experience REQUIRED
• Must be a team player with good organizational skills
• Highly motivated, detailed oriented, well-organized professional with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
