Brake Check retail locations are open 7 days a week and it is our promise to the customer that we will stay late to complete a job if necessary. Store Directors on average work 5 days, 50-60 hours per week and are scheduled to work every other Sunday. The Store Director is responsible for his or her respective business (store). As such, the position requires responsibility for the following: sales, customer relations, store management (staffing and scheduling), adherence to policy/ procedure, and inventory management.

Responsibilities of Store Director / Manager Trainee include but not limited to the following:

· Manage day to day store operations

· Staffing of store technicians

· Deal directly with customer needs and ensure exemplary customer service

· Manage inventory

· Training of new employees to include new managers

· Meet or exceed set goals for the store

· Manage daily financial transactions

Job Requirements for Store Director / Manager Trainee:

· Applicants must have a minimum of five years management experience

· Outstanding customer service skills

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, prioritize tasks, delegate and complete assigned duties

· Valid Texas Drivers License

· Ability to lift 60 lbs.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours)

· Ability to bend and/or squat up to 20 times per hour
