Sutter Gould Medical Foundation is a not-for-profit health care organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people in the communities it serves. With 17 care centers in Modesto, Stockton and five other communities in the Central Valley, a full range of medical care is available at convenient locations. Physician services are provided by Gould Medical Group, Inc., serving Central Valley residents for more than 50 years.

Provides support for the Sutter Gould Medical Foundation patients and their families in the department of Otolaryngology. Assists the physician and other medical providers in the implementing the medical care plan. Position is also responsible for the performing audiometric testing on patients.

Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. SGMF's medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management.

High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college course work in business or health preferred, although comparable experience may be substituted. Experience working with customers in an office environment is required. Previous experience working a healthcare environment is preferred. May be open to training a candidate with minimal experience. Knowledge of what constitutes a medical emergency requiring a physician or licensed nurse's attention. Knowledge of scope of practice of an ENT Assistant. General knowledge of computers and their applications. Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in the English language. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff, and physicians. Has the ability to perform audiometric testing utilizing existing audiometric equipment with training from the provider and existing staff. Excellent customer service skills are important to this position, as is the ability to work well with the geriatric patients and pediatric patients.
