Payroll/Benefits Manager

Role Summary/Purpose

The Payroll/Benefits Manager will be a key member of the HR team of a global Telcommunications organization based out of Miami. The Manager will be responsible for payroll management and benefits support for this multi-billion dollar organization. Large company experience and Spanish fluency is highly preferred .


Essential Responsibilities
Process accurate and timely payrolls each week for hourly population Administer

W-2s and other year-end processes for hourly payroll

Process special pay and changes for bi-weekly salaried payroll

Consistently look to improve the internal controls and processes within the payroll framework

Monitor interfaces between various systems including payroll, HRIS, benefits vendors, etc.

Manage overpayments process

Process wage assignments and garnishments

Handle reporting requirements for all benefit plans

Manage all compliance reporting Research discrepancies of payroll and benefit information and/or documentation, e.g., enrollment forms, billings, time records, leave time, etc., for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures

Assist with administration of hourly benefit plans including pension, 401(k), medical, dental and life insurance

Assist with administration of bonus and commission plans

Analyze, prepare, and compile employee-related data, personnel statistics, and special project information
