Vice President of Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineering: Koa Networks

Vice President of Enigneering

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

. Participate effectively - in the technical lead of engineering VLSI design activity to improve product performance and reduced manufacturing costs insuring sound application of scientific principles, and, - in the management of engineering activity to establish goals, scope, approach, schedules and manpower requirements to accomplish overall objectives.

. Take charge of difficult frequency control and timing design projects requiring a high level of design expertise to support the highest possible performance of the end product in terms of phase noise, jitter, current consumption and accuracy.

. Interface with Marketing to define new Product Line and Product Roadmap for R&D activities.

. Interface with Manufacturing to ensure highest quality in the delivered IC products.

. The Analog / Mixed-Signal IC design in sub-micron CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS process uses advanced libraries, tools and methods to accomplish the highest quality in the realized outputs.

Qualifications:

. MS or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

. Exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable in Analog / Mixed-Signal IC designs. Strong Hands-on Analog capabilities. 15 years or more experience in the semiconductor industry managing all aspects of Analog / Mixed-Signal silicon product development, and tape-outs. Exposure to Frequency Control and Timing Markets is desirable.

. Experience in designing complex Analog / Mixed-Signal PLL IC's, with successful track record in the development of high volume CMOS and SiGe BiCMOS IC Products.

. Committed to high quality standards meeting costs and time constraints.

. Skilled in applying Scientific and Engineering principles to support the highest possible performance of the end product. Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

. Leader, able to inspire and motivate a group of highly skilled and experienced engineers. Leads by example. Team builder able to build and maintain effective working relationships.

. The candidate shows a broad managerial background. This includes resource planning, project management, and strategic planning experience.

. Action and results oriented person with good communication skills making timely decisions.
