Position Information
Location: Oakland, CA
Compensation: $75,000 range

Brief Job Description:

  • This candidate must have strong experience with Financial Reportig and anlayzing financial information. Develops, interprets, and reports complex financial and accounting concepts, techniques and or financial planning, by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists organization's Finance and Accounting Departments in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Conducts and prepares of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.

  • Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.

  • Provide complex financial modeling and financial statement analysis in order to set the appropriate strategy and execute the appropriate transactions.

  • Provide analysis of transactional solutions that accelerate growth, enhance value, and optimize the capital structure of the company. Transactions that you would support include restructurings, divestitures, acquisitions, re-financings, and debt and equity offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting, Finance or related degree from four-year College or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

  • Advanced Excel, Access and Powerpoint

  • Oracle ERP required

  • Telecommunications industry experience huge plus
