COST ANALYST (Chemical manufacturing): The Albrecht Group

Our client, a leading chemical producer, is seeking a Cost Analyst to analyze and monitor costs associated with manufacturing. They are seeking a Cost Analyst who will be responsible for evaluating both processing and product costs.

The Cost Analyst is responsible for developing detailed budgets for manufacturing and product costs. This position is also responsible for developing and analyzing forecasts and periodic actual costs of process and product.

The Cost Analyst participates in monthly closing activities, and is responsible for identifying, evaluating and reporting variances.

This is an ideal position for an accounting professional who is seeking a high-visibility position, and who is seeking to play a key role in cost reduction, increasing efficiencies and improving profitability.

This position is located in Texas .

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• BS/ BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years experience in cost accounting
