Mortgage Business Development Specialist: Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union
    Position is responsible for acquiring new member relationships by originating mortgage loans within our field of membership. This is accomplished by developing contacts and a strong referral network with local companies and the real estate community to achieve mortgage production goals. Position will advise members of products available to them based on their mortgage lending needs and negotiate terms and conditions of loan based on industry guidelines. Work involves extensive personal contact with members, potential members, and people and organizations within the community therefore a significant level of diplomacy and trust is essential. Knowledge of the secondary market and experience with first and second mortgage residential real estate lending is also essential. 50% of the job is spent outside the office making sales calls to local companies and real estate agents within the community. Other 50% of job is located in a general office environment. Position requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience and comes with a commission based compensation package.
