Senior Software Engineer
A next generation mobile convergence/4G equipment manufacturer is looking for a few good Software Engineers to continue the success with its WiMax & LTE products. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer that will have the responsibility of guaranteeing that the delivery of carrier-class platforms is top-of-the-line quality. You will have the opportunity to work with a team assembled from some of the top wireless, WiMax, and LTE companies in the country & work with the newest technologies in the world.
Requirements:
-At least five years of experience with progressive software design & architecture
- Highly skilled in C & Linux kernel internals
- Solid understanding & proven experience with the development of TCP/IP programming.
- Development experience with features like ACL, PBR, & QoS
- Knowledgeable of Unix/Linux/Free BSD device drivers
- Able to independently debug
- Platform bring-up experience
- Solid background in the latest network processors, data structures, & forwarding software by using network processor based systems
- Development & design in distributed systems & highly available systems experience is highly looked upon
- Experience in developing control-plane protocols for telecom products is a plus
-Proven experience in technical leadership with release & software product life cycle management
Desired:
- Prior experience working within a fast paced, start-up atmosphere
- Experience working for a company based on its products and ensuring the delivery of world-class carrier products
