Sr. Hardware Design Engineer
Our company is currently searching for a top-of-the-line, highly intelligent, and experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer. This is a key position within the company with the opportunity to deliver cutting edge systems for next generation, 4G and mobile convergence technologies. As a member of the hardware team, the position will be responsible for leading the development of hardware systems & subsystems from concept to production release. Applicant must be comfortable taking full responsibility of new designs and work collaboratively with software team counterparts in delivering a high quality product to market.
Requirements:
- At least eight years of experience in board design
- Working knowledge of several different high speed interfaces (ex: SPI XAUI, & 4.2PCI-Express)
- Solid understanding of one or more processor architectures (ex: Power PC & x86)
- Knowledge of design of board level & power supplies
- Strong bring-up & debug skills
- Board level validation sustaining & testing experience
- Solid knowledge of FPGA/CPLD logic design & the programming skills to aid with the design
- Experience working within a team of manufacturers & the ability to help solve issues
- Experience with the use of Cadence PCB design tool
- Solid communication skills
