Warehouse Manager
Summary
The Warehouse Manager manages the production, safety, and efficiency of the entire warehouse operation. Ensures customer needs are met in the most timely and efficient manner possible. In this role you will ensure that the most important assets of the company are protected while supervising the activities of all teammates in the warehouse.
Primary Duties:
- Manages, evaluates, motivates, communicates with, and leads all teammates under warehouse supervision.
- Directly manages all warehouse supervisors, in order to maintain a cohesive, motivated, capable workforce.
- Ensures planning, direction, and scheduling of teammates work in order to optimized labor utilization and align with workflow.
- The Warehouse Manager enforces all work and safety rules in order to ensure compliance with state and federal law, OSHA Regulations, and distribution center operations policy and procedure.
- Responsible for the security of and welfare of warehouse teammates, security of the warehouse operations and building facilities in order to safeguard teammates and company assets.
- Maintains inventory control and directs the taking of inventory per distribution center operations procedures in order to optimize cash flow for the organization.
- Sets and maintains all warehouse production standards and warehouse supervisor's goals and objectives in cooperation with the operations manager in order to ensure alignment of all teammate efforts to organizational goals and the company strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and service of warehouse equipment through third-party vendor, including forklifts and pallet trucks, in order to maintain operational reliability and facility integrity.
- Continually communicates strategy, initiatives, and policy throughout the organization through warehouse team meetings, supervisors meetings, and individual coaching sessions in order to fully align all teammates with company goals, objectives, and strategy.
- Provide superior customer service while maintaining cost controls.
- Plan and conduct regular staff meetings
- Maintain business confidentiality relative to personnel, pricing, promotion, customer lists, and methods of distribution.
Qualfications:
- Bachelors Degree, 10-15 years of Warehouse experience and at least 5 years in Management/Director level position.
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of organization
- Excellent computer skills

- High sense of urgency
- Previous experience successfully managing a team of Warehouse employees
Education and Experience Required:
