Job Information:

Field Service Engineer V is responsible for providing analysis, isolation, verification, and resolution of highly complex technical issues. This individual interfaces with external and internal customers and handles Customer Service Request, as well as MOPs (Method of Procedures) generation and execution. The engineer may be sought out as a consultant in one or more technical areas, is capable of operating with a high degree of independence. Field Service Engineer V is also responsible for Technical Leadership and Supervision of junior engineers and may provide day-to-day leadership to a group of less experienced engineers.

· Extensive working knowledge and understanding in two or more of the following technology areas or platforms: TDMA (Core and/or RBS), GSM (Core and/or RBS), CDMA2000 (Core and/or RBS), WCDMA, UTran access, Node Bs, TSP, MMS, MoIP, or OSS .

· Good integration knowledge of the above with in the telecom network

· Good network level knowledge of the above technologies with the rest of telecom equipment

· Excellent oral and written communications skills

· Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills

· Strong leadership skills

· Exhibits high initiative skills

· Capable of developing technical documents and papers

· Capable of performing project coordination activities

· Ability to develop and make presentations to various groups and customers

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of seven to ten years of related experience.
