Dallas, TX Job Description : This position reports directly to the Director of Laboratory Operations and works closely with the Laboratory Manager to ensure that all technical and operational aspects of the lab are well managed. Recommends changes for laboratory to improve performance and/or correct any deficiencies as needed. Incumbent must be proficient in CLIA and CAP guidelines. Incumbent will also work closely with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure the highest technical quality. General knowledge in all areas of lab to include: - Microbiology, including bacteriology, virology, mycology, and AFB
- Chemistry/Special Chemistry
- Immunoassay
- Serology
- Hematology, including Urinalysis and Coagulation
- Immunohematology
- Flow Cytometry
- Clinical Toxicology
- Therapeutic Drug Monitoring
Responsible for acting as a scientific lead in areas of - Implementation of new methods

Job Requirements : Ph.D. or MD Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Path preferred w/6 years of experience in related field. Must meet CLIA requirements. |
