Assist in creation & coordination of EEC public communication and outreach activities



The Energy Education Council, a non-profit organization affiliated with the University of Illinois, has an immediate opening for a part-time Visiting Communications Coordinator. Will assist with public communication and outreach activities including research and writing of news releases and articles, web site updates, marketing and consumer outreach materials such as broadcast public service announcements, videos, graphic designs, PowerPoint presentations, etc related to energy efficiency and electrical safety.

Required qualifications include: BA or BS in related field, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs and experience with desk-top publishing software; and demonstrated verbal and written communications skills. Must submit three samples of writing. Proficiency using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.

Position is administratively responsible to the Energy Education Council Communications Director. Applications accepted through Nov. 12.
