Job Description:
Perform a wide variety of tasks in support of security program.
Develop and present security education and training to employees. Meet regularly with production cells and discuss security procedures. Create and administer Technology Control Plans and educate employees on the requirements contained within as well as monitor for compliance. Oversee Administrative Inquiries for security violations to ensure proper reporting and follow-up actions are completed.
Assist in security functions related to administration of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual to include personnel security, visitor control and document control. Administer security procedures for classified and proprietary information from creation to safeguarding and destruction. Investigates security incidents and prepares written reports detailing findings. Responsible for reporting suspicious contacts to applicable government agencies. Create and conduct briefings on various security topics. Perform special projects as needed. Assist with maintaining order in emergencies. Enforce company rules and regulations.
Required Skills:
Minimum of two years of security experience to include in-depth knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Comprehensive knowledge of security administration functions. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personnel. This position requires a minimum of a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Completion of DoD Facility Security Officer training and other DoD related security courses are desired. Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and associated office applications. Knowledge of classified information systems and communication security is desirable.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business related field with two years of relevant security experience or Associates Degree in Business related field with five years of relevant security experience.
