Internal Auditor


What You Do:

  • Conduct internal audits of varying complexity and scope on all operations of the corporation, subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • Perform financial, Sarbanes-Oxley and operational audits.
  • Prepare meaningful audit comments and provide action recommendations to management based on results.
  • Evaluate company internal control environment and assess the design and adequacy of key systems and processes.
  • Prepare clear and well-organized audit work papers documenting each step in the audit program.
  • Engage in transaction compliance testing to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Interact with all levels of management and company employees.

What's Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
  • Public Accounting experience is highly desirable, as well as Retail industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of employees
  • Strong technical skills in MS Word and Excel; working knowledge of Oracle and SAP a plus
  • CPA or CIA certification (can be in progress)
