Software Test Engineer: Cxdesign (Correct By Design)

Working within a team environment, you will develop software subsystem level tests. This involves:
• Supporting the software Sub-IPT lead in the verification of software requirements while adhering to prescribed CMMI software processes.
• Understanding the defined subsystem level requirements and defining a test plan to verify the requirements.
• Developing software tests against requirements.
• Developing tests scripts in Perl.
• Developing the acceptance test documentation for each of the software builds.
• Performing the dry-run and run-for-record tests of each of the software builds.

A Masters or Bachelors degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years directly related experience. Equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.

Required to have the following skills:
- Experience in Perl.
- Experience in software testing.
- Experience in developing test cases and scripts from requirements.
- Experience in determining if requirements are testable.
- Experience in developing test documentation based on a defined template.
- Experience in ClearQuest as the defect tracking tool.
- Experience in DOORS as the requirements management tool.
