The Director of COBRA Management Services will be responsible for the development of the COBRA management product including process, staffing, technology, and service model. Will also have ongoing responsibility for the integration with ongoing operations of SBUService Delivery and coordination with offshore teams supporting the service model.
This position can be virtual.
Reports to VP Benefits Enhancement Group
Directs a staff composed of U.S. managers
Responsible for:
Coordination with tech / India during development of the initial base solution
Client implementation
Creation of documentation and sales collateral
Training the Sales and Solution Architect teams on sale and deal model parameters
Practice management including acting as a knowledge expert
Development and integration of the ongoing operations into the TBO business model
May perform one or more of the following:
Manages people for programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of projects and/or programs into a finished state
Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets
Monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers or department personnel
Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints
Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, such as systems analysts and programmers, providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives
Directs the activities of project support staff and sub-contractors and is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of the project
Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs
Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations’ effective achievement of objectives.
Plans and manages large-scale projects of extreme complexity.
Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several lower level managers within the company.
Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.

Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree
Relevant experience in COBRA administration
Experience with product/ solution development and management
Experience working with off-shore resources
Knowledge of the Benefits Outsourcing industry
Deep knowledge of the relevant regulatory environment
Proven experience working with best practices
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Ability to communicate at high levels with internal and external customers
