Engineer Job Responsibilities
The Account Engineer is the primary avenue for direct communication with the insured. He/she works closely with production underwriters to review commerical property insurance renewal and new business opportunities to ensure proper risk identification, analysis and assessment and the development and growth of a profitable portfolio of business for the Boston, MA office. He/she must understand our insureds' business needs and risks and have the ability to develop cost effective solutions and long term mutually beneficial relationships. Prospect field evaluation will involved about 10-20% of his/her time, including some overnight travel. The Account Engineer works closely with existing clients, prospects and brokers to find engineering solutions while professionally representing company.
Account Engineer Job Qualifications
This position requires someone with an engineering degree from an accredited college or university. An engineering background is needed with at least 2-5 years experience in loss control filed engineering. He/she must have excellent organization, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills and a working knowledge Microsoft Office products.
Compensation: $65-80k
