Our Venice office is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Brand practice, working on high profile accounts. The ideal candidate will have a zeal for media relations and consumer brands, perhaps even have a passion for fashion and a good understanding of the digital space. Overview of Job Function Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing client programs and activities; ensure that all programs are strategically on target with clients' business objectives; maintain day-to-day contact with client, report program results to agency management and client. Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain contacts and opportunistic media placements for account teams with top tier national and network media contacts.
- Act as a client contact; continually foster client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to client.
- Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations.
- Play key role in account activities including special events, media relations (both digital and traditional), program implementation, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence and reports.
- Develop and monitor program plans and budgets for profitability; report status to client and agency management on a regular basis.
- Explore and create opportunities for incremental business growth within your clients' organizations.
- Participate in the research, writing, and presentation of new business proposals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field
- Four to six years of public relations experience
- Must have a proven track record of media relationship
