Job Description:
Program Quality Manager (PQM) responsible for the overall quality processes and compliance for the AAS program and pursuits including cost, schedule and customer satisfaction. Responsible for the execution of all Quality tasks from initial business strategy and planning, design/development, production and deployment, and to fielded product support.
The PQM will maintain and monitor effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems. He/she will affect Quality policy and influence all decisions affecting Quality with a focus on defect prevention and risk management. The PQM is a key member of the Integrated Product Teams and will influence Quality and technical content development and implementation for hardware design and test procedures. The PQM will manage Product and Process quality through area evaluations/audits, quality metrics review and analysis and document/report findings and implement elements of a closed loop corrective action system with emphasis on root cause analysis. The PQM will lead Corrective Action Boards for addressing problems/issues and will oversee multi-functional projects in process improvement activities with emphasis on Raytheon Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control.
The PQM will drive Mission Assurance (MA) across the AAS supplier base for applicable stages of IPDS and use metrics for tracking/trending supplier MA performance. He/she will provide an independent assessment and oversight of supplier products, practices, procedures and processes to ensure identification of issues and risks.
The PQM is the primary Quality interface with the Program LT, the Integrated Product Teams, Manufacturing management, and Supply Chain Management and internal/external Customers.
He/she will supervise a staff of Quality Professionals supporting the efforts described above. This position will report directly to the ISRS BAQM and dotted line to the AAS PMO.
Basic Qualifications: -Minimum 10 years of practical knowledge and work experience in developing and maintaining Quality Systems -Working experience in assembly/manufacturing, integration and test operations in a high-reliability environment -Working knowledge of ISO 9001, Mission Assurance, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), and Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) -Working knowledge of the application of a closed loop corrective action system, Statistical analysis, Configuration Management and Test Engineering -Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills -Experience working with engineers and other IPT members to develop practical solutions to complex problems -Strong Quality data extraction and analysis skills -
Existing Top Secret security clearance
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Quality
