Partner Support Center Rep




GENERAL SUMMARY
A Customer/Partner facing position that requires the individual to be the key contact for the Inside Sales, & in some cases, outside Sales contacts for specific EMC Focus Partners. Individual works with EMC Partner Sales staff and internal departments at various levels including field sales. Works with mid to higher-end EMC Focus Partners, acting as single point of contact for Partner Registration Program, Partner Cost Relief, Channel Express Sales Assistance and Channel Express Order Process. Manages, and enforces guidelines related to Pricing parameters, Channel programs, and standard Channel Rules of Engagement. Will use knowledge of competitive environment to correctly determine the amount of Cost Relief given to Partners on a deal by deal basis. Must manage a Quarterly Cost Relief Budget on a per Partner basis. Will Also require the skill level necessary to successfully negotiate conflict resolution between Partners and EMC Sales. Uses advanced systems skills and thorough understanding of sales tools to coordinate accurate data for reporting Channel Business. Rarely needs to escalate unique and/or complex concerns or issues for resolution.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Solicit existing Partner base to expand breadth of product being sold into base.


  • Maintain account profiles on both current and prospective Partners


  • Develop, through analysis of Partner profiles, market strategies that result in expansion of Partner sales.


  • Responsible for Forecasting all Registered Opportunities within Partner Base


  • Make assigned outbound calls to profile potential customers and build customer database.


  • Make assigned outbound calls to profile potential customers and build customer database.


  • Communicate current promotions, rebates and exclusive specials to customers in a timely and strategic manner.


  • Maintenance of account profiles on both current and prospective EMC Partners


  • Development, through analysis of EMC Partner profiles, of market strategies that result in expansion of Partner sales
