POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Consultant you will play a lead role in developing and implementing change initiatives that impact organizational performance, including strategy development, leadership behavior, culture change, communications and organizational processes and structures. You will be exposed to a broad range of industries, clients and business issues that will enhance your business acumen and deepen your existing problem solving and project management consulting skills. In cooperation with your manager, you will help design and deliver solutions that may include:


  • Designing/conducting organizational readiness assessments

  • Leadership team performance

  • Communication strategy and content development

  • Team effectiveness enhancement through role clarity, structural and team building exercises

  • Process improvement mapping, analysis, costing and recommendations

  • Training program instructional design and module development

  • Scorecard/metrics development and implementation support

  • Change planning and implementation


The Senior Consultant is responsible for executing the day-to-day project work of multiple work-streams and multiple clients. The Senior Consultant may provide guidance to other team members and direction to complete the client work including work plan development and deliverable execution. You will contribute meaningfully to organizational initiatives such as sales pitches, business development, and thought leadership pieces.


KEY REQUIREMENTS


  • We seek candidates with an advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or comparable experience.

  • Individual MUST have 4-6 years of practical experience in organizational and change management consulting

  • Experience with enterprise transformation projects and technologies, such as SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.

  • Project management as well as business, practice and people development experience required

  • Experience working in a client-oriented, professional services environment with Fortune 500 organizations preferred

  • Candidate must have deep understanding of business fundamentals, corporate strategy and organizational issues

  • Must have excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and implement appropriate interventions

  • Strong communication, personal interaction and persuasion skills required

  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills combined with a creative or visionary mindset

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to masterfully deal with ambiguity and multi-tasking demands

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to high quality and service excellence

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Position requires travel as needed for project work (generally 50%-70%)
