Description Coordinates financial arrangements, billing inquiries and cash time of service payments for MEEA/MEEI. Liaison between clinics, service areas, private practices, the Infirmary Patient Accounts Department, the Associates billing office and agencies. Prepares daily deposits for MEEI and MEEA, maintains petty cash and distributes payroll checks.
Requirements 1. Minimum of two years experience in a medical environment preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. A high school diploma or GED completion is required.
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Medical Terminology and Accounts Receivable backround helpful.
6. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding a plus.
